I grew up in So. California and swam and ran throughout both high school and college. I decided to add cycling into the mix and give triathlon a try during its late 1980’s heyday when florescent lycra and Oakley Blades were all the rage. Yes, I still have my pair of Oakley’s in the garage and I just might dust them off one day and embarrass the team! I have been competing in triathlon on and off for the past 18 years, mostly doing sprint and Olympic distance races.
I graduated from UNLV with a Master’s in plant biology but have put my working career on hold to raise my two daughters, Ali and Zoe. My girls and my husband (Travis) are the center of my world.
